Denisa Prochazka is a Czech-Canadian artist living and working in Canada. Denisa attended York University and graduated from the Ontario College of Art and Design. She continued her studies in Florence, Italy, where she advanced specializing in figurative sculpture.  She felt a deep connection to the Renaissance figurative art which has influenced and shaped the direction of her creative path today. Denisa has been greatly inspired by Native spirituality and Aboriginal art in Canada.

"My goal is to explore and recreate symbolic visions of the past consciousness and incorporate them into the present light. Symbolism has the power to transcend the physical into the spiritual realm. My work is an exploration of this journey."
